Our Stained Glass
The 10 Commandments
At the back of the church on the right side, you can see the two tablets upon which were written God’s Ten Commandments. These are God's expectations for how His people are to live in response to God's love.
The Bible
This window closest to where our Bible readings are read depicts God’s Word, that is the light the world needs.
Prayer
This window is of prayer—we do not pray to just any god but to our Triune God.
Miracles
This panel, also at the back of our sanctuary, depicts the miracle of feeding the five thousand with five loaves and two fish. This panel reminds us of all that Jesus did among the people by His teachings and miracles.
Old Testament Stories
This panel, located at the back of our sanctuary, depicts Noah’s Ark and the rainbow—the drowning of a sinful world and the mercy of God to begin anew. Next is the burning bush from which God, the great “I AM”, spoke to Moses telling him of God’s plan to deliver the children of Israel from bondage.
Communion
The next window to the left of the baptism window is one with bread and wine, telling us of the blessing of the Lord’s Supper where Jesus pours out his body and blood with bread and wine for the forgiveness of our sins.
Forgiveness
The middle panel of the last window in the back corner depicts two keys. They remind us of the forgiveness of sins which opens the kingdom of heaven to all believers.
Trinity
This window has the symbols of our Triune God - The Father is the all-seeing eye, The Son is the fish, and The Holy Spirit is represented by a dove
Baptism
In front of the sanctuary in the left hand corner (facing the altar) is the window depicting baptism and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
